Keynote
How the SDGs can be reached with Private Sector Recovery from COVID
Brigitte Strobel-Shaw managed in South Africa UNDPs crime prevention and criminal justice programme portfolio and served as UNODCs programme coordinator for all technical assistance activites, including projects on organized crime, corruption, urban terrorism, juvenile justice and violence against women. Her positions within UNODC included the position of Deputy to the Chief of the Organized Crime and Corruption Section, work with the Terrorism Prevention Branch, in particular for setting-up UNODCs Global Programme against Terrorism, as well as work on promoting and supporting the entry into force of the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime.

The Guardians of the UN Global Compact Principles – How can each area drive the Decade of Action
As an Associate Professor at the School of Law of City University of Hong Kong, Prof. Surya Devas primary research interests lie in Business and Human Rights, India-China Constitutional Law and Sustainable Development. Prof. Deva published extensively in these areas, and has advised various UN agencies, governments, multinational corporations and civil society organisations. He is one of the founding Editors-in-Chief of the Business and Human Rights Journal.
Patrizia Heidegger has been working as an advocate for global environmental justice, human rights and development for 15 years, mainly with NGOs in Europe and Asia. She leads the EEBs work on sustainable development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Patrizia is part of the Steering Group of SDG Watch Europe and closely follows the implementation of the SDGs in and by the EU.
Giovanni Gallo worked as a Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Officer, primarily responsible for the included promotion of the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime and the UN Convention against Corruption, providing legal advice and technical assistance for Member States to prevent and fight organized crime and corruption. Giovanni Gallo has held several positions in the UN system over the past 20 years and hast also served as Deputy in the Office of the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) and Executive Director of UNODC.

Katrin Muff ist Direktorin des Institute for Business Sustainability und Professor of Practice an der LUISS Business School in Rom. Mit über 20 Jahren International Business Erfahrung im Bereich Strategie und Management in unterschiedlichen Teilen der Welt, leitet Katrin Muff aktuell zusammen mit Dr. Thomas Cyllick den Weiterbildungslehrgang „Diploma in Advanced Sustainability“. Ihre Erfahrungen teilt Sie in Ihrem Buch „Five Superpowers for Co-creators“.
