Presentation of the report: „Holding back climate progress: sustainability’s critical skills gap“

Webinar

Forschungsbericht

Dr. Karen Cripps, Senior Lecturer in Responsible Management and Leadership at Oxford Brookes University Business School, Oxford, UK, presents her research report „Holding back climate progress: sustainability’s critical skills gap“ to all interested parties.
For the study, Dr. Cripps interviewed executives with sustainability responsibilities worldwide about the requirements for sustainability managers and teams.

The study outcomes show that sustainability managers are confronted with new and constantly increasing demands, resulting in a critical skills gap: Employees with sustainability responsibilities have a growing need to develop certain soft skills, which are often neglected in favor of technical skills. These findings can be used for suitable learning and further training measures.

The presentation and subsequent discussion is aimed at sustainability managers, their managers and interested employees from HR development.

Dr. Karen Cripps will present in English.
