Strategies for talking about your gender or ethnicity pay gap in your company
The aim of this session is to i) empower attendees to better understand the multifaceted nature of the gender paygap so that they can apply this knowledge to their own workplace context ii) improve communication skills on the gender paygap so that attendees can hold accurate and professional conversations with their colleagues about gender paygap issues and iii) empower attendees to ask the questions they need answered. So they feel confident in the actions they decide to take next within their workplace to close the gender paygap. By the end of this session attendees will have a clear idea of how to assess their workplace systems and behaviours against what they have learnt. This will give them the building blocks alongside the content of Target Gender Equality to close the gender paygap within their company.
Facilitated discussions will enable peer learning and sharing in plenary and breakouts.
